हे परमात्मा,
चाह नहीं मेरी कि पूरा पथ जान सकूं,
दे प्रकाश इतना कि अगला हर कदम पहचान सकूं,
oh god,
I do not wish that I could know the full path,
Give light so that I can recognize every next step,
भगवान कहते है,
तू करता वहीं है जो तू चाहता है,पर होता वहीं है जो मैं चाहता हूँ,
तू वो कर जो मैं चाहता हूँ, र देख होगा वहीं जो तू चाहता है,
God says,
You do what you want, but it is what I want,
You do what I want, and you will see what you want,
मन का झूकना बहुत जरूरी है,
केवल सिर झूकाने से परमात्मा नहीं मिलते,
Bending of mind is very important,
God does not meet by simply bowing the head,
जैसे घर के अंदर जली हुई,
अगरबत्ती से सारा घर सुगंधित हो जाता है,
ठीक उसी प्रकार परमात्मा का नाम जपते रहने से,
आपका सारा जीवन सुगंधित हो जाता है,
Like a burnt inside the house,
The whole house becomes fragrant with incense sticks,
In the same way by chanting the name of God,
Your whole life becomes fragrant,
ईश्वर चित्र में नहींचरित्र में बसते है,
इसलिये अपनी आत्मा को मंदिर बनाओं,
God lives in character not in picture
Therefore make your soul a temple,
इस जगत में जिसे छूटना है,
उसे बांधनेवाला कोई नहीं है,
और जिसे जगत से बंधना है,
उसे भगवान भी नहीं छुड़ा सकते ,
Who has to be released in this world,
There is no one to bind him,
And the one who has to be tied to the world,
Even God can’t save him,
मत करना अभिमान खुद पर ऐ माटी के प्राणी,
तेरे और मेरे जैसे कितनो को ईश्वर ने,
माटी से बनाकर माटी में मिला दिया,
Don’t be proud of yourself, O creature of soil,
How many people like you and me have been given by God,
Made from clay and mixed in the soil,
आसली लोगों के काम के लिये ही भगवान ने,
कल का निर्माण किया है,
God only for the work of real people,
Tomorrow is built
गुरूर तुझे किस बात का ऐ बंदे,
आज तू मिट्टी के ऊपर तो,
कल मिट्टी के नीचे,
What’s wrong with you, O man?
Today you are on the soil,
Tomorrow under the soil,
जो कुछ मैंने खोया वो मेरी नादानी,
जो कुछ मैंने पाया वो मेरे प्रभु की महेरबानी,
All that I have lost is my innocence,
All that I found was by the grace of my Lord,
